Rams Head Trail

This trail is 1 mile in length, starting at the end of Salt Pond Bay beach towards the right along the shoreline. It is a rocky, exposed trail leading to a unique blue cobble beach and then up the hillside to its crest 200 feet above the Caribbean Sea. Please watch your footing near the cliff edge.

The trail to Ram's Head begins at the end of Salt Pond Bay beach, heading towards the right along the coastline.

First you go along the rocky shore...

then the path takes you in from the shore a little...

and up...

with beautiful overlooks...

Breathtaking views and the most gorgeous turquoise waters you have ever seen await you.

Onward and upward passing all kinds of cacti

and other interesting plants and trees

Ah!   the path approaches the pebbly beach...

And here we go onto the beach. The path continues at the end of the beach,
and on up to the top of the hill in the distance.

path along the shore

then you climb up... and have some...

...super fabulous views!

You can't forget to mention the fields of barrel cactus - also known as Turk's cap cactus.

If you're real careful, you can get close to the edge...

...and catch some beautiful crevice shots

then looking towards the last climb...

You can see the little fruit beginning to grow.

Just "OH, WOW!!!"

Oh, My god!! What an incredible full 360 view!!!

then we turn toward the homeward stretch...
