Cruz Bay, St. John ... here's where the ferry coming from St. Thomas drops you off.
There are taxis and car rentals all within walking distance.
If you prefer to drive your own car, or rent a car on St Thomas to drive to St John, there is a car ferry which offers auto transport to the island.
Within Cruz Bay you will find a US Post Office, two banks, the Elaine Sprauve Library & Museum, and the new National Park Visitor Center.
If you are hungry or thirsty when you arrive, there is a large assortment of restaurants and bars to choose from.

The National Park Visitor Center Building is located right on the water front near the car ferry dock,
and has a wonderful little "museum" of St John inside, as well as a little shop.

St. John is a popular spot for boating enthusiasts. Visitors can see a variety of boats in the water, from simple row boats to the newest Azimut Yachts for sale.
Sailing, renting a power boat, or taking a yacht charter are just a few of the many ways to experience the beautiful waters of St. John.
