Cruz Bay, St. John ... here's where the ferry coming
from St. Thomas drops you off. There are taxis and car rentals all within
walking distance.
If you prefer to drive your own car, or rent a car on St Thomas to drive to St John, there is a car ferry which offers auto transport to the island. Within Cruz Bay you will find a US Post Office, two banks, the Elaine
Sprauve Library & Museum, and the new National Park Visitor Center.
If you are hungry or thirsty when you arrive, there is a large assortment
of restaurants
and bars to choose from. And don't forget to pick up an island souvenir from one of the many colorful local
giftshops and boutiques! Custom t-shirts with a cool St. John logo make great gifts to bring home to your friends and family. T-shirts are still the quintessential souvenir from any trip to the Caribbean. |

The National Park Visitor Center Building is located right on the water front
near the car ferry dock,
and has a wonderful little "museum" of St John inside, as well as a little
shop.
